Hon. Clifton Grima
Hon. Clifton Grima is the Parliamentary Secretary for Sport, Recreation and Voluntary Organisations.
Hon. Grima is a lawyer by profession. He graduated as a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2010. He was elected in Parliament on the Labour Party ticket in October 2016 and since then, he served as a Member of the Maltese Parliament. Following the June 2017 General Election, Hon. Grima was trusted with a Cabinet role and this role is still currently held.
As Parliamentary Secretary, he is currently responsible of Malta’s sport industry, Recreation and Voluntary Organisations. During the past years, Hon. Grima has introduced new legislative requirements that were needed in the sectors of his portfolio and introduced national policies that ensure more transparency and accountability.
