Concept of the Award
The Award Ceremony is a celebration of the hard work and dedication of several individuals and organisations in the disability sector.
Scope
The scope behind this award ceremony is to celebrate the achievement of individuals and organisations whose endeavours implement the rights for persons with disability. On a national level, Government is obliged to show its appreciation towards those who strive to ensure an inclusive society where persons with disability to ensure an inclusive society where persons with disability, their families and assistants/carers experience accessibility and independent living conditions.
Award Categories
- Award for the voluntary organisation that worked towards achieving inclusion
This Award recognises a non-governmental voluntary organisation who made a significant impact and had direct involvement towards achieving inclusion.
- Lifetime Achievement Award in the Disability Sector
This Award recognises an individual whose efforts contributed towards exceptional delivery which left an impact on the disability sector.
- Premju Soċjetà Ġusta
This Award recognises an individual with disability whose qualities made a significant positive impact in this sector.
